Hydromagnetic Natural Convection from a Horizontal Porous Annulus with Heat Generation or Absorption

This paper deals with a numerical study of free convection in horizontal cylindrical annulus filled fluidsaturated porous medium the presence transverse magnetic field and heat generation or absorption effect. It is assumed that inner outer walls are maintained at constant temperatures Ti To , respectively, as > . In addition to equation, model consists equation motion under Darcy law Boussinesq approximation. The system equations solved numerically by alternatingdirection implicit finite difference method. investigation concerns effects inclination angle, Hartmann number, coefficient on transfer flow pattern. results demonstrate rate regime depend mainly characteristics mentioned. obtained data presented graphically terms streamlines isotherms.
